make some navigation errors, you may see places you weren't intended to see.

Location: Grant Ranch Area (San Jose, CA)
Start Time: 8am Finish Time: Approx. 5pm
Race Check-in: Begins at 6am - ends at 7:30am

The
race courses will travel on public and private lands. Terrain varies from fire
roads, open grassy hills, to thick forest. Technical
orienteering section will be similar to Orange-level (intermediate) orienteering
course. Disciplines will

/ Bouldering
- SPECIAL
SECTIONS: King of the Hill Time Trials
Anticipated
winning time: 7.5 - 8.0 hours
Average time: 9.5 hours
Slow time: 12 hours (includes short-cuts)

The Sierra Extreme is produced by VirtuActive, LLC. VirtuActive consists of
experienced adventure racers and multi-sport athletes. Our group has competed in
the Eco-Challenge, Raid Gauloises, Southern Traverse, Mild Seven Outdoor Quest,
Hi-Tec Races, and a variety of other adventure racing events in North America
and beyond.
