Sam Friehe

Sam Friehe is a Co-Founder and the President of Organizational Development at VirtuActive. As a founding partner, Sam brings nearly 25 years of design and construction knowledge to the company. He has been around residential construction since he was 15 years old and has a degree in Construction Management from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Prior to VirtuActive, Sam worked for multiple custom home builders, was a Project Manager for a multi-family construction business as well as owned and operated his own custom home building business for over 10 years along with his wife Kayla.

Most of the current processes, employee training systems and standards that VirtuActive has in place are a direct result of Sam's past experiences in the field. He's continually striving to give every VirtuActive employee the best opportunity possible for them to grow and learn within their career.

 A big belief Sam has is that few things are more satisfying than seeing a client's dream become a reality from design to build. VirtuActive has a unique role in that belief by having the responsibility to get the construction process started on the right foot with each client getting the best experience possible.

When outside of the office Sam loves spending time with his beautiful bride and 3 boys. Traveling, youth coaching, golfing, fishing, hunting, living room wrestling matches, taking the kids to activities and yardwork all seem to occupy his free time. He also likes Husker football and Creighton basketball (yes he's a proud self-proclaimed Jaysker!), going to concerts, seeing old friends and checking out new golf courses whenever he gets the chance.
