Sahara Johnson

Sahara joined VirtuActive in 2026 as a Designer. She has a degree in Interior Design and a minor in Architecture from Texas Tech University. Before beginning her career in design, she spent five years in the U.S. Marine Corps as an Indonesian linguist and is currently pursuing her MBA through Abilene Christian University.

Sahara enjoys the process of listening to clients, understanding how they live, and translating their ideas into thoughtful spaces that feel uniquely their own. Her design influences span a variety of styles and places, from the Spanish and Mediterranean architecture of California to the coastal homes of the Carolinas and the historic architecture of the South.

Outside of work, Sahara loves staying busy and trying new things. She enjoys paddle boarding, painting, volleyball, concerts, gardening, exploring new restaurants, and cheering on Nebraska volleyball. These days, she may have traded speaking Indonesian for something a little more familiar—fluent floor plan.
